Additional Learning Support  Assessment Consultant

Are you an experienced inspirational, well qualified and talented Special Education Needs practitioner who is capable of motivating and getting the best out of students with additional learning support needs? Are you equally capable of supporting and guiding other teachers in how they can best support students with additional learning needs?
CATS Cambridge is an international boarding school for students aged 14+ from across the world. We offer A-level, GCSE, and Foundation programmes to boarding and day students.  This makes for a vibrant student constituency drawn from many home education systems where SpLD and SEND challenges go undiagnosed making this a challenging but fulfilling role.  Applications would be welcomed from those who hold an appropriate level 7 qualification, or from those with a level 5 qualification who have started to work towards the level 7 qualification.

CATS Cambridge is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. The successful applicant will be required to undergo an enhanced DBS checked. We are an equal opportunities employer.

We’re part of CATS Global Schools, and we benefit from being part of a forward-looking organisation with a strong educational vision.  If you’re interested in being part of our school, we’d love to hear from you.

In the context of international education, the name CATS is known and loved by generations of learners and is synonymous with excellence. Originally, CATS was an acronym for Cambridge Arts, Technology and Science, representing the focus of the founding colleges based in the city. However, today, CATS Colleges, is much broader, it brings together a number of schools in four countries (UK, US, Canada and China). Its portfolio includes independent boarding schools, an Arts University College, English language schools and a variety of summer schools all with the common purpose of “inspiring the next generation of world shapers.”
