CATS College London offers an outstanding international pre-university educational experience to students aged 15+ from all over the world. CATS students live and work in our beautiful period buildings studying for GCSEs, A levels and University Foundation Programmes, and preparing for admission to universities across the country and elsewhere. We pride ourselves on our approach to teaching and learning, with small class sizes and an informal atmosphere ensuring that students are treated as individuals and build great relationships with staff.


Bank staff work occasional day or night shifts as required.  Day shifts are 6.45am - 7.15pm;  night shifts are 6.45pm - 7.15am.  
Bank staff work flexibly doing occasional shifts, or might cover for a few days/nights at a time.  The full-time, permanent staff work either “three days on, three days off”, or “three nights on, three nights off” on a rolling rota basis.  
House Parents are a supervising adult presence in the boarding house and are committed to ensuring the health and wellbeing of our boarding students and assisting them in their daily lives.


•            To prioritise the safeguarding, welfare and health and safety of students above all other duties.
•            To be familiar with statutory safeguarding and child protection requirements and with relevant college policy.
•            To play an important part in an effective House-Parent team, working with other House Parents and Senior House Parents and the Assistant Principal (Boarding) to maintain the highest possible standards of care and support to all students at Premier House. 
•            To promote good behaviour and attendance by students and challenge and manage any instances of unacceptable behaviour. 
•            To monitor and support any student who has expressed concerns or has been raised as a cause for concern.  
•            To play an important part in student health and welfare, liaising with the College Nurse as required or, in an emergency, to call the appropriate emergency services.  
•            To monitor the safety and security of Premier House, including supervision of guests, visitors, and contractors. 
•            To conduct welfare checks and ensure students are up in the morning ready to leave for college in plenty of time for their first lesson. 
•            To play a part in the induction of students on their arrival.
•            Liaise as appropriate with other colleagues in all the above.
