Looking for the next step up? Our Senior Teacher role could be just the thing if you’re looking to earn while honing your EFL teaching leadership skills, this summer.
As a Senior Teacher, you’ll play a key role in supporting both our Assistant Director of Studies and Director of Studies, along with the teaching team. Your guidance and expertise will help ensure smooth lesson delivery, and collaborative team environment.
With small classroom sizes and teaching materials provided, we provide CPD, appraisals and observations, as well as an experienced and supportive academic management team.
We are a leading provider in summer school study holidays. We welcome over 6,000 young learners (aged 8–17) from around the world each summer. Our mission is to help students improve their English through engaging classroom lessons and a lively program of activities and excursions. Locations: Bournemouth, Cambridge, Bloomsbury - central London, Northampton, Uxbridge, and Oakham.
Contracts: We can provide optional full-board accommodation (excluding Bloomsbury, central London), so why not try a new location? You can choose contracts from 4-6 weeks long, between 21st June to 10th August 2025. You must be available throughout July. Dates can be a little flexible.
Bloomsbury - Central London (please see specific Job Description, below)
Non-residential only
Hours: 32 hours per week over 5 days. This consists of 15-30 hours teaching plus other duties as required
Pay: £598.22 per week + holiday entitlement*
Bournemouth, Cambridge, Northampton, Uxbridge, Oakham (please see specific Job Description, below)
Hours: 42 hours per week over 6 days (usually Monday to Saturday). This consists of 15 or 30 hours teaching + additional duties such as assisting the DoS, student welfare time and leading excursions/activities as required
Pay:
£599.99 per week for residential positions + holiday entitlement*
£638.38 per week for non-residential positions + holiday entitlement*

CELTA or Trinity CertTESOL or a PGCE in Primary or English Literature or MFL (essential)
3 years' full-time teaching experience
Previous experience of working in a summer school is highly desirable
Degree or equivalent required
DELTA/ DipTESOL or equivalent MA qualification desirable
Experience of teaching using Interactive Whiteboards and Digital Teaching Platform is preferred
Experience of teaching Exam Preparation for Trinity GESE is desirable
Experience of working with young learner
Be collaborative, have a passion for teaching and EFL
Have a working knowledge of safeguarding practices
You must already have the right to work in the UK.
